A woman was killed and her husband was injured in an accident involving a Scorpio vehicle at Bokse Pahara in Manthali Municipality-6 Valuvajor of Ramechhap.

In the accident, Barsia Radha Karki Chauhan, about 40, of Manthali Municipality-1, Manthali, died on the spot, Police Inspector Kaushal Neupane of District Police Office Ramechhap informed.
As the vehicle was stuck in a difficult road, it was difficult to rescue and the body of the woman was taken out by the police. Her husband Uttam Chauhan, who was injured, is being treated at Ramechhap Community Hospital in Manthali. The police said that the vehicle number could not be revealed because it was stuck in the road.
