Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the Congress is sensitive to the self-esteem of the tribals.

On the occasion of the 31st World Tribal Day, in a program organized by the Federation of Nepal Democratic Tribal Tribes, which is close to the Nepali Congress, President Deuba said that provision is made in the constitution for the self-respect of tribal tribes. 

Former Prime Minister Deuba emphasized that everyone should join hands and move forward for social change. He mentioned that the achievements according to the principles of federalism, republicanism, secularism and proportional inclusion have been achieved through the new constitution.

President Deuba made it clear in the preamble of the constitution that it is now being implemented by putting an end to many types of discrimination, oppression, economic equality, prosperity, and social justice. He said that the tribal people have come forward for their rights in an organized manner.

  Chairman Deuba mentioned that it is necessary to move forward unitedly in social and economic development along with politics. He said that the Congress has been protecting and promoting the traditions and costumes of the tribals.
