Thursday's meeting of Parliament's Education, Health and Information Technology Committee has agreed to promote community school teachers in three ways. Earlier, due to the demands of the teachers' federation, no agreement could be reached on teacher promotion and performance evaluation.
Chairman Amar Bahadur Thapa said that it was agreed that teachers will be promoted based on internal promotion, seniority and performance evaluation and performance evaluation.
