Shouldn't time be set in the system that the officials of the Federation who are at work will have to regularly participate in the activities of the school designated by the Ministry? I have an amendment proposal in this'- Education Minister Pant
Education, Science and Technology Minister Raghuji Pant has put forward an amendment proposal that the tenure of office bearers of teachers' federation should not be fixed. Minister Pant made this proposal while speaking at the committee meeting held at Singha Darbar on Thursday.
In the proposed bill, there is a provision that two officials appointed by the federation can be employed for at least two months in a year to carry out the activities of institutional development and educational reform of the Nepal Teachers' Federation without any financial burden on the government.
'The two officials appointed by the Nepal Teachers' Federation can be arranged to work for at least two months in a year without incurring any financial obligation to the Government of Nepal to carry out activities related to the institutional development and educational reform of the Nepal Teachers' Federation. Shouldn't time be set in the system that the officials of the federation who are in such a position will have to regularly participate in the activities of the school designated by the ministry? I have an amendment proposal in this,' he said. Thursday's meeting of the
committee has reached consensus on promotion of community school teachers in three ways. Earlier, due to the demands of the teachers' federation, no agreement could be reached regarding teacher promotion and performance evaluation.
