Maoist President Pushpa Kamal Dahal has alleged that the UML is more in favor than the Congress that American aid projects such as the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) should be passed. He made such allegations while addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba said that MCC should be like that. Dahal says that UML president KP Sharma Oli is more strict. Chairman Dahal said that the MCC was passed with explanatory notes only after repeated efforts.
This is Dahal's statement
KP Oli is tougher than Congress. Some of our friends wanted to go. Considering the seriousness and importance of this matter despite the quarrel, are you going to go for the country or are you ashamed? If the country is in the best interest of the country, we agreed that we should negotiate with whoever. But he used such unsweet, bitter and insulting language, much more than the Congress. They are also the ones who make members of IPS. They are also the ones who agree with SPP in principle. Then, at the end, there was a way to boycott it, not to participate in the voting. But it could have been approved. It was not possible to stop it and start a revolution.
