The bench of Judges Tank Prasad Gurung and Dilliratna Shrestha reversed the previous order to send him to the district court and ordered him to be released on bail.
High Court Information Officer Parvati Hitan said that he was ordered to be released on a bond of 3 lakhs for the crime against the state registered in the incident of Chait 15.
After the arson and vandalism that took place during the violent demonstration in Tinkune on March 15th, a case was registered against Prasai in the Kathmandu District Court for criminal nuisance and organized crime. He filed a petition in the High Court against the said order.
Similarly, Prasain has been ordered by the High Court to release 2.5 million bond or bank guarantee in a separate case of banking offences . The bench of High Court Judge Sudarshandev Bhatt and Munendra Prasad Awasthi gave the order.
