There is still a dispute in the committee set up to investigate the provision of the 2-year cooling period in the Civil Bill to be broken by the State and Good Governance Committee. The House of Representatives, led by Congress MP Jeevan Pariyar, formed a 'special committee to study and investigate the errors in the report of the Federal Civil Service Bill'.

After the expiry of 21 days of the said committee, the additional 7-day working period ended on Sunday night.

The discussion started from 7 am on Monday morning by continuing the meeting on Sunday. The meeting to finalize the report was not concluded even till 3 pm. The report could not be finalized as the dispute between the MPs of the ruling party and the MPs of the opposition party in the committee continued.

The opposition party is alleging that no consensus could be reached because the ruling party said no one should be prosecuted. The MPs of the ruling party alleged that they could not reach an agreement because the opposition was taking a stand.

Opposition MPs say that they were asked to come to an agreement within 1 hour. Maoist's Madhav Sapkota, RSVP's Ganesh Parajuli and RPP's Roshan Karki have gone to the Parliament meeting after giving the responsibility to Speaker Pariyar to get agreement. 

The meeting of the parliamentarians of the ruling party is sitting in the Singha Darbar.
