The current water level at the Triyuga Gaighat water measuring station in Udaipur has crossed the alert level. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, the current water level at the Gaighat water measuring station has crossed the alert level and is rising, so the department has also asked people to take precautions while staying in the coastal area of the river and in areas prone to flooding.

Similarly, the water level at the Kaligandaki River, Modi Beni hydromeasuring station in Parbat district is around the alert level and is rising, as there is a risk of landslides in the river coastal areas and weak and steep lands, the department has requested to exercise vigilance.

The department has informed that the influence of monsoon air is currently affecting the country. Monsoon low pressure line is located a little north of Sardar place. According to the department, it will be generally cloudy in the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning at many places in all the states. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in Koshi, Lumbini and a couple of places in the Terai region of Far West Province.
