Meteorologist Maharjan said that it has rained heavily in some areas of different provinces this afternoon and it is still raining in Koshi and Madhes provinces. According to him, 151.6 mm of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours at Anarmani Virta station in Jhapa. 

Similarly, Damak has received 121 and Chandragarhi 127 mm of rain. Gaighat of Udaipur received 134.3 mm of rain while Banke also received 107 mm of rain. More than 16 stations have recorded more than 80 mm of rain. It is heavy rain. 

Madhes province has also received good rain this year. In Madhes, Baramjia of Saptari has received 93.6 mm of rain. Similarly, 84.4 mm of rain has been received in Siraha, 42.4 in Dhanusha, 57.8 in Mahottari Gaushala, and 72.8 mm in Lahan. Rautahat Gaur received 65.8 mm of rain, while Bara received 43 mm of rain. There has been moderate rain in Parsa and Sarlahi. More than 50 mm of rain has fallen in many measuring centers of the country. 

Along with this, the department has informed that there has been heavy rain around some measuring centers of Baglung, Lamjung, Sindhupalchok, Morang, Sankhuwasabha, Jhapa, Udaipur, Dadeldhura, Doti. Light to moderate rainfall has occurred in most parts of the country. The

department has predicted that in the next 24 hours, it will be cloudy all over the country and there will be moderate rain in many places of all the provinces and there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in one or two places in Koshi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province. Monsoon is expected to be active in Madhes province and the whole country for the next few days.
