Seven highways across the country were blocked due to rain

Seven highways across the country have been completely blocked by landslides caused by incessant rains across the country. According to the Police Headquarters, seven main highways across the country have been blocked due to the incessant rains in various parts of the country.

The Koshi highway in Bhotkhola rural municipality of Sankhuwasabha, the bridge connecting Nepal-China border in Rasuwa's Gosainkund rural municipality, the Pasang Lhamu highway in Rasuwa, the Arani highway in Bhotekoshi rural municipality of Sindhupalchok have been blocked.

Kaligandaki Corridor in Baglung Municipality of Baglung, Ghorahi Rukum Shaheed Highway in Pariwartan Rural Municipality of Rolpa and Jajarkot Dolpa Bheri Corridor Road in Aathbiskot Municipality in Rukum West have been completely blocked, police said.

Similarly, the road section from Tokha in Kathmandu to Nuwakot, Kaligandaki Corridor in Gaandakot Municipality in Nawalparasi East, Beni-Jomsom Road in Thasang Rural Municipality in Mustang, Prithvi Highway in Bandipur Rural Municipality in Tanahun, Shahid Highway in Pariwar Rural Municipality in Rolpa have been operating in a one-way manner, according to the police headquarters.
