The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) has decided to make its protest against corruption and human trafficking under the guise of 'visit visa' more effective.
In the meeting of the party's parliamentary party held in Bhairahawa on Wednesday, it was decided to strongly raise the issue of visit visa and human trafficking from the streets and the house with the conclusion that its MPs played a role in establishing the issue of the people in the current session of the parliament. Santosh Pariyar informed that the role played by the party in the current budget session was reviewed in the meeting. "We succeeded in establishing the issue of the people in the parliament," he said, "We succeeded in establishing the issue in the parliament of the state making policies that caused suffering to the people, and we also raised other issues of corruption." He claims that because of the agitation by the
party, the people felt that the RSVP did not abandon their issues. "We have received a message from the citizens that RSVP did not make an agreement with the ruling party who shows arrogance based on numbers," he said, "keeping that, we have decided to keep the door of dialogue open and continue the agitation regarding the corruption in the parliament under the cover of visit visas and other issues related to it." Also, he said, the party has come to the conclusion that it would be dishonest to ignore the people's issues.
"We believe that numbers are not the reason for things that shouldn't be done in parliament," he said, "Therefore, we believe that Congress, UML and Maoists will also agree on the serious issues of the people and maintain consensus on the issues raised by the RSVP."
