A meeting was held between Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal.
In the meeting held at President Dahal's residence, the latest political developments in the country were discussed. Alok Rayamazhi, a member of the Standing Committee of the United Socialist Party, informed that there was a review of the left-wing polarization, national and international political situation, efforts to unify the communist power, wars between the powerful nations at the international level and its effects and the functioning of the government.
In the meeting between the presidents of the two parties, the possibility of cooperation and unity between the Maoist Center and the United Socialist Party, theoretical basis and procedural issues were also discussed.
