Nepali Congress leader and former chief of Gandaki province Prithviman Gurung passed away. He passed away today at 8 o'clock in the morning at his residence.
Gurung, who is also the former chairman of Nepali Congress Chitwan, died on July 12, 2078. Gandaki was appointed as the provincial chief. Gurung, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-26, was informed by Tek Prasad Gurung, a central member of the Nepali Congress, who also worked as the chairman of the Nawalparasi Land Commission. He was the district chairman of the Democratic Congress when the Nepali Congress split.
Gurung Chitwan was born in 2006 in Machhapuchhre rural municipality of Kaski and came here after migration. 76-year-old Gurung was battling cancer for a long time. He was a member of the Jan Andolan Mobilization Committee of 2046 and worked in various positions of the Congress. As Gurung's son is abroad It is said that the funeral will be held on Sunday.
Among his two sons, the elder son has passed away and the younger son and his wife are alive.
