Former President Vidya Bhandari has said that she is still in the UML. She said that after completing the term of the President, she renewed the membership of the party legally.

"After successfully completing the term of the former president, I renewed my membership of the mother party CPN-UML with the intention of spending the rest of my life for the country," she said at a press conference in Kathmandu on Friday. Decisions are not based on some people's humor and excitement. The party also has its legal procedures. Runs on a system.'

She said that it is not good to decide according to what someone wants, and she claimed that she herself has returned to the life of the UML party. She stated that she renewed the membership according to the law after returning saying that she is the president by the decision of the party.

Last Tuesday, the UML Central Committee decided not to renew his membership. Bhandari held a press conference to respond to the decision of the party. "When I joined the party and decided to move forward, I duly renewed my party membership," she said, "I have been a party member for 45 years. Madan Bhandari administered the oath of party membership to me. I don't think anyone can eat my subscription, just because someone wants it.'

On the occasion of Madan Bhandari's 74th birth anniversary, she announced that she will be active in politics at a program held in Kathmandu on June 14. With his announcement, there has been a debate within and outside the UML about whether or not a person who has been president will enter active politics. His talk increased as a competitor of party president KP Sharma Oli in UML. The polarization of the party leaders had started. At the same time, in the central committee meeting, party president Oli announced the decision that the membership of Bhandari, who has become the president, will not be renewed.  Bhandari said at the

press conference. "Since my party membership has been renewed, this is not a subject to be disputed." She mentioned that she had met with Oli the day before the meeting and informed him that she had renewed her membership in a lawful manner and that she wanted to join the party and act accordingly. "Party President and Honorable Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and I had a discussion in a cordial atmosphere," she said, "the next day, I came to know from a statement that the party central committee did not renew my membership." She mentioned that such a decision was made based on impulse and excitement. She has raised questions about the decision-making process. She said that she cannot be deprived of being a party member. "Decisions made based on passion and excitement can confuse the truth temporarily, but the reality cannot always be covered," she said, "decisions made in such a way that the scientific theory of democratic centralism regarding party building is unfavorable cannot be valid and mature."

She held a press conference as the former vice-president of the party, although she claimed that she was in the UML and that her membership remained, but she did not disclose anything about her upcoming journey or strategy.

She has said that she has the constitutional right to do politics. "Deciding to serve the country and the people by fulfilling the duties of the President and joining a political party is not something strange and surprising," she said, "The Constitution of Nepal has guaranteed the right to believe and the right to join a political party as a fundamental right. There is no situation where I cannot join the party and get involved in politics. She claimed that there is no reason why she should be deprived of party membership as it would be detrimental to the constitutional supremacy and the rule of law.

She has called on workers across the country to faithfully protect the concept of party building put forward by Jabz. "This request and resolution of mine is the voice of the inner soul, I will not deviate from my decision," she said.
