Speaker Devraj Ghimire has said that it is necessary to end the situation where hearings are held only after protesting on the streets.
He said this while accepting the materials made from bamboo handed over under the leadership of Mayor Tirtharaj Bhattarai of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, Khotang at Singhdarbar on Thursday.
He said that it is necessary to end the situation of minimum hearing only after creating a forced situation by going to the streets and protesting. He said that if the demands are impractical, irrelevant or unreasonable, they should be made clear immediately. Despite the efforts, if there is no hearing, going to the streets will not be considered unconstitutional, he said.
Speaker Ghimire said that if any law is stuck in the Parliament for the promotion of bamboo materials, the House of Representatives will always be ready to build it.
He said, 'everything should be ended by going to the streets and creating a compelling situation by protesting. If your point is impractical, irrelevant or unreasonable, it should be said that it is not possible immediately. If you don't get priority, you have to go to the street. It is not unconstitutional to go to the streets if there is no hearing even after trying. But there should not be a situation where you have to go to that level. The government should do the work of creating the laws and guidelines. If it is stuck in parliament, it can be passed and implemented. It is needed to promote bamboo.'
Speaker Ghimire said that bamboo plants can be used in many places and its importance is remarkable.
