Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that it will take time to become a project of long-term importance. In the question and answer program with the MPs in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli said that he will be ridiculed when he moves forward with ambitious plans.

CPN-S MP Metmani Chaudhary mentioned the context of Prime Minister Oli's plan to bring trains to Kusma. 'When the Prime Minister was talking about the Pokhara-Kathmandu train, did he talk about the railway station in Kushma?  That matter was also not included in the budget statement. The topic of land acquisition did not come up.  The people of Kusma are optimistic about the construction of a railway station, but are disappointed as it is not addressed. I request the Prime Minister through the Honorable Speaker to make this clear.'

The prime minister answered this and said that there is no plan to build the railway line today. Prime Minister Oli also said that they were trying to satirize him by bringing up the issue of trains in Kusma.  Prime Minister Oli said that an initial feasibility study has been done for Pokhara-Kathmandu-Lumbini railway with the help of China.

He claimed that the construction of railway infrastructures will be gradually progressed based on feasibility and detailed studies. It is understood that the Honorable is trying to satirize Kushma as a railway station. Projects of such long-term importance are not planned to be completed now by putting forward proposals. That is our dream of development, the day will come when it will also be fulfilled,' replied Prime Minister Oli.

Prime Minister Oli also discussed the fact that Dailekh has a large natural gas reserve as his achievement. "Earlier, there used to be sarcastic questions like, 'I will mine gas in Dailekh.' "Now that there is 112 billion cubic meters of gas and it will be produced from next year, those who are sarcastic have started saying that we are also contributing to it," he said.

Kushma train station! Why is it discussed again and again?

During the campaigning of the 2074 parliamentary election, Oli had announced the plan to run a train from east-west and different parts of the country, from running a ship in Nepal. The matter is on November 30, 2074. Left alliance with Maoist and UML was in the election field. Standing at Kushma's Bandrebidi Chaur, Oli shared his rail dreams.

The video goes viral on social media from time to time. 'North-South Rail. Kerung-Kathmandu, Kathmandu-Pokhara train. I think I don't have to say anything about the train to Beni after the Pokhara train. Beni will not go after Pokhara train! Where Beni should go, Kushma should not come. Kushma is a station itself. This is a matter of a few years,' Oli said.

In 2074, the Left Alliance won nearly two-thirds majority. Oli became the Prime Minister from February 3, 2074 to June 30, 2078. Then the next election was held in 2079. In the said election speech, Oli did not talk much about Kusma's train. Oli, who became the prime minister again since June 30, 2080, is following 'Kushma's train'.
