Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that success is being achieved through the unity and cooperation of different political factions led by the Nepali Congress and the Communist Party in every difficult phase of the country.

Answering the questions raised by the parliamentarians in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli expressed the opinion that through the use of such cooperation, change with political stability in the country would be possible and the achievements would be institutionalized.

According to the thinking of BP Koirala and Pushpalal Shrestha, Prime Minister Oli mentioned that the cooperation between the Congress and the Communist Party was successful in guiding the uncomfortable political developments seen in different periods in a smooth direction by moving forward on the path they embraced and said that the government is achieving success in terms of development and prosperity along with political stability.

Commemorating the memorial day of the founder general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal Pushpalal on Wednesday and the first elected prime minister BP Koirala on Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli paid emotional tribute to both personalities who led the democratic movement by ending the Jahaniyan Rana regime.

While answering the questions raised by the MPs, Prime Minister Oli remembered BP and Pushpalal and urged them to embrace the path of 'unity and reconciliation, not differences and differences'.

Prime Minister Oli, who is also the president of UML, said, 'Puspalal, who fought for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people, was not even given the opportunity by the then dictatorial power to give up his life in his beloved country. The practical application of the united people's movement against dictatorship that he showed was done in 2046 through the Nepali Congress and the then United Left Front. A multi-party system was established. After the 'coup' of 2017, as demanded by Pushpalal, our joint movement led to the restoration of the dissolved parliament in 2006, which brought about a qualitative change in the political system. By suspending the Shah Dynasty monarchy for two and a half centuries, it created a situation where the people's elected prime minister exercised the authority of the head of the state and the head of the executive.'

Prime Minister Oli added, 'According to our habit of functional unity only after hunder-thumping, the broken politics was brought back to normal in 2072. Today, the government led by me, formed in the Congress-UML plan, with the participation of other parties, is based on that unity, cooperation, competition and coexistence.'
