UML President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that we should be careful of trying to divide and divide the party. Stating that the party is united, he also said that there is a need to further strengthen internal unity.
In the central committee meeting which started on Monday at the party central office in Lalitpur, Oli instructed the leaders and workers to strengthen the internal unity of the party and present themselves.
While presiding over the central committee meeting, Oli was of the opinion that everything should be done to establish the party as a national power. According to Rajendra Gautam, head of UML's central propaganda department, Oli said at the beginning of the meeting that the party is ideologically and politically united.
President Oli has asked the central members to put what they think in the meeting and asked them to face it unitedly as the opposition and various elements have targeted the UML in the style of lies and rumours. 'Ideologically and politically, our party is united now. There is no difference here, but we should be aware of the fact that there may be many attempts by the elements to cause controversy and division,' Oli said, 'Opponents cannot compete with us in ideas and work. He accuses Goebbels style by resorting to lies. They try to make UML look weak. We have been facing such accusations and challenges for a long time. We will do it again.' In the
meeting, Oli presented the claim that UML's party membership has increased by 139,000 (28 percent) and is organizationally strong.
In the UML Central Committee meeting, Vice President Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present a legislative amendment proposal and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will present a summary report.
