Former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that to achieve the goal of economic prosperity in the country, it is necessary to improve the way of thinking of the state as a whole.

He said this today while meeting the newly elected officials of CNI (Confederation of Nepal Industry) at his private residence in Khumaltar. During the

meeting, President Dahal mentioned that the private sector's contribution to the economic development of the country is important. He pointed out the need for policy reform to change the mindset of the state and allow the private sector to work in a comfortable environment.

'The goal of prosperity cannot be achieved without preparing a policy and structure to facilitate the private sector,' President Dahal said, 'It is necessary for the state to develop an attitude of facilitation rather than suffering.'

The officials of CNI also recalled the role played by the private sector for the economic prosperity of the country and the strong cooperation environment that was created when Dahal was the Prime Minister.
