department has published a public notice for the information of the stakeholders and service users and said that the service delivery will be announced as soon as the repair work is completed. The department said that the service has been stopped since Sunday.
Since the collection and distribution of National Identity Card details can be done offline, the department has informed all the National Identity Card service units to make arrangements to do the same, and has also requested the public dignitaries to assist in this work. The information officer Sedhain said that the service users who registered the details of the national identity card through offline will receive the national identity number via SMS after the online service resumes.
