Heavy rain is forecast today at one or two places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. At present, the influence of Monsoon air is present across the country. As the low pressure line of Monsoon is slightly north of Sardar place, it is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy over the country today.
According to Department of Water and Meteorology There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some parts of the hilly areas of the country including Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim and few places in the remaining areas.
The department has informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain in one/two places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and there is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snowfall in some places in the high-hilly and Himalayan areas of the country. Similarly,
