In the last 12 hours, heavy to very heavy rains have been recorded in various parts of the country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, 151 mm of rain has fallen in Lumle of Kaski in the last 12 hours.
Dhankuta received 121 mm, Sunsari 130 mm, Ilam Maipokhari 121 mm. According to the department, heavy rainfall has been measured in these four places. Heavy rain has occurred in many other districts.
Meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari of the weather forecast division of the department informed that there has been more rain in eastern Nepal and said that the heavy rain system is moving in the central and western regions today. He says that this situation will remain till tomorrow and will gradually disappear.

Sindhupalchok, Kaski, Parbat, Okhaldhunga, Taplejung, Panchthar, Tanahun, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Sankhuwasabha, Tehrathum, Myagdi, Jhapa have also received heavy rain in the last 24 hours. According to the department, heavy rainfall has also occurred in the hilly areas of some other hilly districts.
According to the Flood Forecasting Division, the current water level at the Modikhola Water Measuring Center in Parbat District is rising around the alert level, so the people living in the coastal areas of the river are requested to be careful.
Similarly, in the morning in Kankai Mainachuli of Elam, the water level reached around the alert level. The water level in Sunsari's Sardul River also crossed the alert level. At Budikhola Duhabi water measuring station in Sunsari at 1:20 pm, the siren sounded after the water level crossed the danger level.
