The Politburo meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) continues at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of the party president and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

According to Rajendra Gautam, Head of UML Publicity Department  In the meeting, the proposal to amend the statute presented by the vice president Bishnu Prasad Paudel is being discussed. So far, 32 Politburo members have presented their opinions in the report. Now 40 members are left to speak.

He informed that the Politburo meeting will approve President Oli's political, Vice President Poudel's constitutional amendment and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel's organizational report passed by the secretariat meeting. 

There is a program to organize the legislative convention from the 20th to the 22nd of August.
