The Accident Investigation Commission constituted to investigate the crashed 9N-AME-CRJ 200 aircraft of Solar Airlines has submitted its final report.
Today culture, tourism and civil aviation Commission Chairman Ratish Chandralal Samun handed over the final report of the committee to Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey in an event held at the ministry. After understanding the report, Minister Pandey stated that the report came without any objection and expressed his commitment to implement it .
After submitting the report of the commission, the ministry has published the report through its website.
Last July 9, a Solar Airlines plane flying from Tribhuvan International Airport to Pokhara for maintenance crashed near the runway, killing 18 people on board. Pilot Manish Shakya managed to survive the accident.
On the day of the plane crash, the government formed an inquiry commission under the leadership of Ratish Chandralal Suman, former director general of Nepal Civil Aviation Authority.
