Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that progress is not possible without labor and prosperity is not possible without respect for workers.

Prime Minister Oli said this through social media while expressing his happiness that the minimum wage of workers has been increased with effect from July 1st.

'Earlier, we had taken steps to secure the future of workers by implementing a contribution-based social security program. About 2.1 lakh workers have joined it so far,' he wrote on Facebook.

Informing that the minimum wage of workers has been increased from 17 thousand 300 rupees to 19 thousand 550 rupees per month effective from July 1st, Prime Minister Oli has written, 'A fistful of trust for the workers will be important. Jai Shramik, Jai Nepal!'
