Today's 20th meeting of the Medical Education Commission has determined the seat of the certificate level program towards medical education under the Technical and Vocational Training Council.
Under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister and Commission Chairman KP Sharma Oli, the monitoring presented at the meeting held at the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar on Wednesday and The seat is determined based on the evaluation report. At present, the seats have been determined for two hundred and eighty five educational institutions in the said institutional, non-profit (establishment/partnership) and private institutions. In the meeting, legal facilitation was also discussed to allow medical colleges to conduct PCL nursing programs.
The report table of the working group formed to prepare a draft of the standards related to the fee determination of the undergraduate and postgraduate educational programs of medical education and to recommend the determination of tuition fees for the upcoming academic session . After studying the report submitted by the working group to the Chairman and Prime Minister Oli, Prime Minister Oli has handed it over to the vice-chairman of the Commission, Prof. Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha. The meeting has approved the program and budget for the internal resources of the Commission for the next financial year. Addressing the
meeting, Prime Minister Oli instructed the Medical Education Act, 2075 to do homework on topical amendments and make the commission effective by limiting it to the actual work area. He said that instead of planning the education sector, we should go for expansion and facilitation while maintaining quality.
