An Indian citizen involved in the robbery has been arrested by the Dhanusha police. 23-year-old Vijay Mukhia of Madhuvani Devdha-8 was detained by Dhanusha police on Wednesday.

He is accused of robbing Ajay Kumar Goit of Janakandani rural municipality 1 in cash of 2 lakh 16 thousand, check of 12 lakh 10 thousand and iPhone 16 on this June 20. 

While going to deposit money in Goit Bank, police investigation has shown that the head of the road showed a pistol and robbed. Narahari Regmi, SP of Dhanusha, said that the chief is a professional robber.

"There are 9/10 cases against Mukhiyas in India as well," SP said, "They hide in Nepal after looting in India. He hides in India by doing it in Nepal. The police is investigating him with an extension of 5 days from the District Court Dhanusha.
