In the National Assembly, UML Member of Parliament Sonam Gelzen Sherpa has said that it is a positive change for the people of the Himalayan region to take a bath once a day. He also said that migration abroad is not only a problem of Nepal.
In the meeting of the National Assembly on Tuesday, MP Sherpa objected saying that they are trying to create a commentary that nothing has happened in the country. He said that no one has said anything positive and emphasized that we should move forward with positive thinking.
Asserting that earlier people living in the Himalayas did not bathe even once in a year, MP Sherpa said that now there are people who bathe every day even in the mountains. Why can't we do something positive now? Nothing happened, nothing happened. What happened? Has nothing happened? Hasn't it been much?,' Sherpa said, 'Yesterday, people of our race did not bathe in the mountains for a year. Didn't bathe for 6 months . It should be said with sincerity . But today the economy is good. People of our race live in the Himalayan region, where the temperature is minus 19 degrees . There is a position to sit and take a bath once a day . Isn't this progress?'
Stating that in the past it was difficult to take a bath even once a year due to the cold, MP Sherpa asserted that now even in the Himalayan region, due to economic prosperity, it is a condition of taking a bath every day . 'Yesterday we were not taking a shower, for a year . It would have been cold, what would have happened, it would have been difficult to take a bath in a year, this is what I have experienced. But today, even though we live in the Himalayas, we take a bath every day,' he said, 'there is a bathroom. The economy is good .'
MP Sherpa said that the comment that only Nepalis went abroad is not correct. He said that there is no other way to migrate to the place where there is an opportunity .
