The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the police has formed a committee under the leadership of (SSP) Hovindra Bogti to investigate the gang that took them to Spain by making them participate in the United Nations conference.
SSP Bogti said that the committee formed under his leadership will complete the investigation as soon as possible and submit a report to the police headquarters. The committee led by SSP Bogti also includes an investigation officer from the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau .
On Monday afternoon, in a meeting called by Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar, the matter of forming an inquiry committee to investigate the alleged human trafficking in Spain was introduced.
The 21-member high-level visiting team led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left for Spain on June 14 to participate in the 4th "International Conference on Financing for Development of United Nations" held in Seville, Spain. After participating in the program, the government team including Oli returned on June 20.
In the two weeks surrounding the visit of the government team including the Prime Minister, 82 people arrived in Spain unnaturally and 55 others returned from the airport without going to the destination country.
The details of taking Spain and entering European countries including Portugal from there and charging a large sum of money by the gang were also revealed earlier.
