On the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed UML's National Assembly MP Bhagwati Neupane as the Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

Spokesperson of the President's Office Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai informed that President Poudel has appointed Neupane as a minister.

Earlier General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta resigned on Tuesday morning. He resigned after the audio of the bribe conversation was released.
