Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that he signed the contract to install floodlights at Kirtipur cricket ground.
Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, he said that the government under his leadership had signed a contract to install floodlights in the stadium in Kirtipur, but had to leave the government in the meantime.
He said, 'The government under my leadership had signed a contract to install floodlights in the Kirtipur stadium. But in the meantime we left the government. Then, in the language of the Prime Minister, claiming that a powerful two-thirds government had been formed, he announced that the construction of an international stadium with floodlights and parapets would be completed within 300 days in the first decision.
However, it was decided to complete the construction of floodlights and parapets within 200 days only after the formation of the government led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
