Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa has demanded the dismissal of the minister involved in the bribery scandal. In an event held in Kathmandu on Monday, General Minister Thapa demanded that Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta himself should resign and ask for an investigation after the audio of the bribery scandal was released.

He said that Minister Gupta should be dismissed and those found guilty in this incident should be investigated and brought to justice.

'He doesn't dare to say that he didn't make a mistake. After saying that I would take it away, I expected that the Prime Minister would immediately dismiss the minister. I didn't think it was necessary to comment on that. But there was a situation to comment. I would like to request the Prime Minister through the programme. You should immediately dismiss your minister,' he said.

He stressed that because no one is above the law, the wrongdoers should be punished, no exemption should be given in the name of any party or others. General Minister Thapa also said that the judiciary should be restructured during the amendment of the constitution.
