There is a well at a distance of 20 meters from the house, but the dilapidated water is constantly leaking. So she went to sleep in Jethani's camp which is about 100 meters away from the house.
Around 10 o'clock in the night, a voice suddenly came from the neighborhood, "Didi, save me, the snake has killed me." Kamala was not conscious when Sita Auji (deceased's sister-in-law) reached the barn in fear. According to Sita, Kamala, who was sleeping with a swing, slept with her head out of the swing when it got hot. The snake bit him on the cheek .

The hut was demolished to kill the snake. Locals still don't want to stop the practice of camping as a 'bad practice'. They say that the barn was also destroyed to search for snakes. But the snake was not found. Sita says that Kuldewta gets angry if he stays at home when there is shade. We didn't believe it. But Deuta is angry. People work . Bad at home. After all, gods are bigger than people, what can you do?
After Kamala's death, the camp was demolished.
Near Sita's house is the house of Champha Budha who migrated from Achham. His neighborhood is in a very scary bush . Her Nanda and she live in that shed during menstruation. There is not even a light. His thinking is also not different from Sita's. Everyone has love for life. But you have to live for the deity . If they enter the house in the camp, the whole family will be affected,'' she says. Not only people have migrated from Acham, they have also brought settlements together .
Only last year Krishnapur municipality demolished four slums. But the locals built it again. Krishnapur mayor Hemraj Ojha says, 'No matter how much they destroy, they will rebuild . This bad practice has taken root in the society . It must be uprooted.'

After the death of Kamala, Krishnapur has given a 15-day 'ultimatum' issuing a notice to demolish the Chhaupadi Goth that is still standing within the municipal area . The municipality has warned that those who do not remove the encroachments will be fined 10,000. In the
notification, it is said that the demolition of Chhaupadi Goth will be monitored through the concerned ward office. Also, it is said that action will be taken against those who do not follow the instructions. The
letter says, "Since it has been found that the illegal Chhaupadi system is still in place in Krishnapur Municipality, it is requested to demolish such sheds in all the wards within 15 days". If the order is disobeyed, a fine of 10,000 will be imposed.' Also, there is a provision that women should not be kept in confinement or subjected to any other kind of discrimination, untouchability or inhumane treatment during menstruation or childbirth. However, in many rural areas of the Far West, even today, the bad practice of keeping menstruating women in the barn is still in place.
