After being removed from the disciplinary committee of the National Democratic Party (RDP), senior leader Navraj Subedi has filed a complaint with the Election Commission. President Rajendra Lingden concluded that leader Subedi was not a member of the party on June 25 and removed him from the post of disciplinary committee chairman and nominated Roshan Karki as chairman.
Against the same decision, he reached the Election Commission on Sunday along with the party's former president Prakash Chandra Lohani and two general ministers, Dhawal Samsher Jabara and Kunti Shahi. Talking to the media after filing a complaint with the commission, leader Subedi responded that he was able to file a complaint because the president arbitrarily removed him from the disciplinary committee without the party's decision.
He also accused President Lingden of making a decision against natural justice. He reiterated that there should be no conspiracy within the party and that he had filed a complaint with the commission for fair justice. He said that he would respond later.
He said, "I was removed from the disciplinary committee due to the arbitrariness of the chairman". No decision has been taken from the central committee meeting. Therefore, they decided against this natural justice. Before making a decision, I should have been asked. I haven't even been asked . I found out from the media. That is why I have come to hold elections. Since injustice is happening within the party, I raised my voice against it. I will know what I will do after getting fair justice . I have come to file a complaint so that there is no such conspiracy within the party.' He also claimed that his movement for the restoration of the monarchy is continuing.
Subedi, who became the coordinator of the Joint People's Movement Committee for the restoration of the monarchy, was kept under house surveillance by the police after the 15th Chait incident. On 21st May, the program between the royalist political parties and various groups including Navraj Subedi, RPRPA, RPRPA Nepal and others was disrupted due to uproar. After this incident, the distance with Subedi and RPP increased even more .
