Five different highways in the country have been blocked today due to floods and landslides.
According to the police headquarters, roads were blocked in Koshi Highway, Pasanglhamu Highway, Bheri Corridor, Araniko Highway and Tripurasundari Municipality-1 Chalaghat in Dolpa.
Police spokesman Vinod Ghimire informed that four other roads blocked by landslides have been opened one-way. Vehicles have been operated on Sahid Highway connecting Rolpa and Gulmi, Kaligandaki Corridor as well as Jai Prithvi Highway connecting Khodpe-Bajhang.
