The University Teaching Hospital has launched services with new facilities to make health services more efficient and quality.
Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel inaugurated the emergency room 'Green Area Ward' with 15 beds and the 'Three Tesla MRI' service with modern technology in the hospital on Saturday. On that occasion, he expressed his belief that this initiative of the teaching hospital will contribute more to the effectiveness of the health sector.
Minister Paudel said, 'With the added service, it will be easier for many citizens to get good and cheap services. In the coming days, the ministry will support the expansion of services and the modernization of the hospital. Prof. Dr. Subas Acharya, director of
hospital, said that a modern MRI machine has been obtained with the help of the ministry and now the patients will not have to pay expensive fees and go elsewhere.
Although the number of patients will be more, due to the lack of beds in the emergency room, there is a situation where up to two people have to be admitted in the same 'bed', he said, now it will contribute to solving the problem.
