More than 48.3 million revenue has been collected from Dharahara, which was rebuilt and put into operation after the 2072 earthquake caused complete damage.

Mahesh Rai, Head of Interim Dharahara Operation and Management Unit Sundhara informed that 4 crore 83 lakh 65 thousand 5 hundred revenue has been collected from Dharahara, which has been in operation since November 9th, with fees till June 24th.

According to him, during this period, 262 thousand 555 people have observed Dharahara . In which there are 1 thousand 549 foreign observers. About 1,200 people climb the Dharahara every day, except for closing on Wednesday.   

'Dharahara has been arranged from 10:30 am to 5 pm. A significant presence of citizens was seen in a short time . Due to the lack of time, it was not possible to arrange tickets for all who came here to see the tower,' said Rai, the head of the management unit.

A fee of 2 hundred rupees per person has been fixed to climb the tower. There is a provision for students, senior citizens, children with disabilities to climb the tower at a 50 percent discount. 5 hundreds per person for tourists coming from SAARC countries and 1 thousands per person for tourists coming from non-SAARC countries .  

According to Special Structure Operation and Management Development Committee (Establishment) Order, 2081, Dharahara has been operational since November 9. Before that, the cabinet meeting held on November 6 had approved the fee for climbing the tower.  

Parking here is fixed at 20 rupees per hour for four-wheelers and 10 rupees for two-wheelers. It is said that 50 rupees has been fixed for entering the Dharahara complex. 5,000 per hour has been set for advertising of national importance on the Dharahara pillar. Similarly, Rs 5,000 per hour for professional video shooting and Rs 1,000 per hour for photography have been fixed.
