There is a problem in detecting the cause of the Bhotekosi flood in Rasuwa due to the fact that there are still clouds in the high Himalayan regions of China and Nepal. The Department of Water and Meteorology has said that due to clouds, the cause of the flood could not be detected as it was not clear when trying to take pictures with the help of satellites.

According to the department, although there is no heavy rain in the territory of Nepal and China, there has been a flood in the Lhende river at the Nepal-China border in Rasuwa. The department has informed that during the period of 24 hours from Monday to Tuesday, the Kanjing Meteorological Center in Rasuwa and the Dhunche Meteorological Center in Rasuwa, which are close to the Nepal-China border, recorded only sporadic rainfall.  Vinod Parajuli, a flood expert from the

department, said that there is a suspicion that any ice dam in the territory of China and Nepal may have burst or the ice block may have been trapped in the river and later burst. 'It was found that the flood did not occur due to heavy rains. Now we are studying what caused it,' he said. But there is still a problem due to the clouds.'

The International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ISMOD) has also said that satellite analysis has been interrupted due to clouds.
