Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the Maoists are the official side of the democratic republic and constitution making.
He has claimed that Congress-UML is the opposition by writing on the social network, "Regardless of the number of Maoist organizations, Congress and UML are the opposition, they are not the official side of the constitution and the democratic republic."
He claimed that although Maoists are in the third position in terms of numbers, Maoists are the official side of constitution making in terms of agenda.
'We are now in the third place in the House in terms of legality and numbers. But no matter how many seats we have, even if we have 32 seats now or even if it was 240 before, or even less, today's Nepali politics, the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic, in terms of establishing the rights and identity of women, Dalits, tribals, tribals, laborers, farmers, Madhesi, Muslims, all the oppressed communities, the founding side of Nepali politics is Maoist, he argued.
