Heavy rain is expected in some places of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim today.

According to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division, there is currently an influence of monsoon air across the country and the low pressure line of monsoon is around Sardar place.

According to the division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly parts of other provinces including Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Gandaki, Karnali and one or two places of Sudurpaschim Province. Also, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in some places of high hills and Himalayas.

Similarly, it will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and hilly parts of Sudurpaschim Province and some parts of other provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall at some places in the highlands and mountainous parts of the country.
