Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-16 Sisters died after drowning in Bhaiya Pond located in Kapileshwar Bazar Toll. They died this morning while taking a bath.
District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Barun Bahadur Singh informed that the deceased were local four-year-old Arohi Kumari Raut and three-year-old Maithili Kumari Raut. Both of them went to bathe in the pool in the morning. Local Kailash Raut said that he could not be saved after he fell into deep water while bathing.
Both were taken to the hospital, but the doctor declared them dead, police said. Their bodies have been taken to the provincial hospital Janakpurdham for post-mortem.
