Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government is on a war footing to rescue those affected by the floods in Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers.

Prime Minister Oli has also informed that instructions have been given to ensure that there is no reduction in the government's efforts in rescue through social media. At this sad moment, I am taking regular reporting with the security agencies about the rescue operations being carried out in the affected areas by postponing scheduled programs except for emergencies,' Prime Minister Oli has said,  ''There has been rapid coordination to provide emergency assistance to disaster-prone areas. Government agencies are doing rescue work. I expect everyone's cooperation in that.' 

Prime Minister Oli has said that he has received information that some citizens have died and some have gone missing due to the flood and that he has received information that there has been a great deal of material damage. He paid tribute to the citizens who lost their lives in the flood and also expressed his sympathy to the citizens who were suffering from the disaster.
