President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed three judges to the Supreme Court based on the recommendation of the Judicial Council.
According to a statement released today by the spokesperson of the President's Office, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, senior advocate Meghraj Pokharel, Chief Justice of Janakpur High Court Srikant Poudel and Chief Justice of Dipayal High Court Shantisingh Thapa have been appointed as judges of the Supreme Court.
It is mentioned in the announcement that President Paudel has appointed him as a judge of the Supreme Court in accordance with Article 129 of the Constitution.
