Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has responded to the vote of confidence after the Civil Liberties Party participating in the government withdrew the vote of confidence.

While leaving the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, Prime Minister Oli said that no vote of confidence should be taken as no one has mistrusted him. Prime Minister Oli replied to a journalist's question about when the vote of confidence is ready to be taken.

In response to a question about whether the Civil Liberties Party has withdrawn the vote of confidence, Oli said, 'When ?'

Civil Immunity Party is sitting on the bench of the opposition, isn't it? Oli's answer to the question was, 'I didn't see it!'

After the party participating in the government withdraws the vote of confidence, there is a constitutional provision that the Prime Minister has to take a vote of confidence in the Parliament . In Article 100 (2) of the Constitution, there is a provision that "if the political party leading the government splits or the party participating in the government withdraws its support, a vote of confidence must be taken within 30 days".

Civil Liberation Party submitted a letter to Speaker Devraj Ghimire saying that it has withdrawn its vote of confidence to the government on Sunday. Since Monday's meeting, the party has been sitting on the opposition bench.
