Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli informed the Parliament about Nepal's participation and achievements in the fourth international conference on 'Finance for Development' of the United Nations held in Seville, Spain.

Taking time in today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Oli said that the conference has contributed to the achievement of sustainable development goals by increasing new partnerships at the global level for economic diplomacy.

Prime Minister Oli informed about the agenda of the conference and visit in the meeting of the House of Representatives on June 14 before the conference. Prime Minister Oli left for the conference on June 14th and returned home on June 20th. At the

conference, Prime Minister Oli led the speech on behalf of the least developed countries and informed that he advocated for the just and economic and social development of these countries. Expecting that these countries will receive world-class support and assistance for their upgradation through the implementation of the Sevia commitment, Prime Minister Oli informed that Nepal will be upgraded to a developing country by 2026. . On the occasion of the

conference, Prime Minister Oli informed the House about his leadership and advocacy commitment in chairing the meeting of the group of least developed countries, various psyllid talks and round match conference. .

He clarified that since there are forty-four least developed countries, Nepal has shown that it can lead effectively in front of those countries on the occasion of the conference. On the previous day of the conference, Prime Minister Oli addressed the gathering of civil society and called for a vigilant role of a strong civil society.

Prime Minister Oli also says that Nepal has adopted a democratic and liberal system for civil society. On the occasion of the conference, a bilateral meeting was held between Prime Minister Oli and Prime Minister of Spain (Chairman of the Spanish Government) Podro Sanchez.
