A meeting was held today between the Minister of Home Affairs, Ramesh Akhtar and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Ignazio Daniel Giovanni Cassis.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ramchandra Tiwari, informed that a delegation including Switzerland's Foreign Minister Cassis had a meeting with the Minister of Home Affairs, who also held the responsibility of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In the
meeting, the Home Minister praised the friendly relations between the two countries, the development of Nepal and the cooperation of Switzerland in the peace process. "Development of the two countries, economic issues" said spokesperson Tiwari, "climate change, partnership in disaster risk management, etc." He said that during the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
