Four members of the same family were killed in Ramprasadarai Rural Municipality-2 of Bhojpur. Chief District Officer of Bhojpur, Suresh Panthi, said that Rajendra Rai, a resident of Helaunchha, Bhojpur Municipality-2, killed four people of his in-laws' house along with his wife.

He said that Rai killed his wife Manisha Giri, father-in-law Bel Bahadur Giri, mother-in-law Manju Giri and brother-in-law Sapan Giri. The incident took place around 1:15 pm.

According to him, Rajendra, who is said to be involved in the incident, is also seriously injured. He has been injured in three places by a sharp weapon in his abdomen . Rai involved in the murder was brought to Bhojpur Hospital for treatment. He has been referred to the district hospital after being unable to be treated.

According to the neighbor, Manisha came to Maiti a few days ago. There was a dispute between Rajendra and Maiti, who came to his in-laws to take Manisha.

"It is not yet clear what the dispute was," said Prajia Panthi, "The dead bodies of four people have been found at the scene". As Rajendra himself is seriously injured, many things remain to be revealed, he said. The police said that further investigations are being conducted into the incident.

As soon as the information about the incident came to light, the team from the Boyang and District Police Offices of EPR reached the spot . Although the incident was said to have happened around 1:30 a.m., the police received information only late at night.
