Meetings of nine different committees of the Federal Parliament are sitting today.
Meetings of the Finance Committee, International Relations and Tourism, Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare, Agricultural Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee are going to be held in the House of Representatives. Similarly, there is an agenda for women and social, infrastructure development, education, health and information technology committee meetings.
Federalization of the National Assembly and the meeting of the National Concerns Committee is also being held. The meeting of the parliamentary hearing committee, which is a joint committee, has also been scheduled for today.
In the meeting of the Finance Committee, there is an agenda to discuss with the amendment proposer member who registered the amendment proposal in the bill made to amend the Bank and Financial Institutions Act, 2073. The International Relations and Tourism Committee will discuss the Nepal Air Service Authority Bill, 2081 with the amendment.
In the Industry and Commerce Committee, there will be a discussion regarding the quota determined by the Government of Nepal for the import and sale and distribution of chemical fertilizers to provide subsidies to farmers. In the agriculture and cooperative society, the upcoming program of the society and current issues will be discussed. The Infrastructure Development Committee has agenda to discuss the Electricity Bill, 2080, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Bill, 2081, Sunkoshi Marine Diversion Project and various topics. The education committee will discuss the school education bill sub-committee's report.
There will be a discussion on the draft of the committee's on-site monitoring report in the Federalization Strengthening Committee. The Parliamentary Hearing Committee will discuss the matter of the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and the persons recommended for the hearing.
The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for Monday and the meeting of the National Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday.
