The police team deputed by the Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a house in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-4 Damkal Chowk and registered a 'Social Software Development Company' and was operating a call center and Meto dating app illegally.
According to the Central Bureau of Investigation, 52 people were arrested while renting a house in Chagal, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13 as a branch of the company and engaging in online dating scams and crypto transactions through dating apps. According to the police, 13 lakh 99 thousand 950, seven laptops and 54 mobile phones were recovered from them.
Among the arrested, six Chinese citizens have been registered and further investigation has been started against 46 others.
