The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing on Wednesday to decide whether the appointment of 52 officials of the Constitutional Commission, which has been under consideration for four and a half years, is right or wrong from the point of view of the Constitution. The judges have been deliberating for 6 hours. But till about 5 pm, no decision has been made about it.

According to the order of the 28th of June last, this case was taken up in the constitutional bench of Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, Judges Sapna Pradhan Malla, Manoj Kumar Sharma, Kumar Chudal and Nahkul Subedi.

The judges have been deliberating since 11 a.m. on Wednesday to decide on the case. But still it is not decided whether the decision will come today or not.

Chief Justice Raut, Senior Judge Malla and Judge Nahkul Subedi did not sit in the court on Tuesday in the case, which was scheduled for Tuesday. The other members of the bench, Justices Chudal and Sharma, heard the cases on Tuesday.

According to the amended law through the ordinance, the constitutional bench is about to hear 15 writs against the appointment of 32 officials on 21 January 2077 and 20 officials on 10 June 2078. After the debate was over on 1st of June, the decision on the appointment was set for 28th of June, but the date of the decision was postponed due to insufficient discussion between the judges.
